Doctor - Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Nam is the Chairman - the Founder of Gattaca Law Firm. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam has over 20 years of experience in banking legal practice, debt settlement and collection and attorney practice.
Before joining the establishment of Gattaca Law Firm, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam has held various positions of executive director, mid-level leader, legal expert at enterprises, banks and state agencies such as: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Eximbank Asset Management Company (Eximbank AMC), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. Besides the field of lawyer, Doctor-Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Nam also participates in teaching law at prestigious law training institutions and is an arbitrator of some of the leading arbitration centers in Vietnam.

• Directly participating in the proceedings, implementing measures to settle large bad debts in value of hundreds of billions of dong of credit institutions such as Cas International Container Joint Stock Company (Hai Duong), Hong Quan Textile Enterprise (Thai Binh) (Thai Binh), Phuong Nam Food Processing Joint Stock Company (Soc Trang), Hoang Cung Hotel Joint Stock Company (Hue), Nam Chien Hydropower Plant (Son La)...

• Participating in developing the project of restructuring the Construction Bank (CB)

• Cooperating with Vietnam Asset Management Company (VAMC), Vietnam Debt and Asset Trading Corporation (DATC) and other debt-buying organizations and individuals in the process of trading, settling problematic debts at credit institutions

• Settling real estate disputes, disputes about security assets between individuals and enterprises; between individuals, enterprises and credit institutions.
