5. Policies to support job maintenance training for employees

With the policy of supporting job maintenance training for employees, employers will be supported with funding for training, fostering and improving vocational skills levels from the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE) when paying enough unemployment insurance premiums for employees for full 12 months or more up to the time of requesting support.

The maximum support rate for each employee is VND 1,500,000/employee/month and the maximum support period is 06 months. Applications for assistance shall be submitted between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022.

6. Support for food

Employees are entitled to food allowance of VND 80,000 per person per day from April 27, 2021 to December 31, 2021 for the following two subjects:

- People who must be treated for COVID-19 (F0), the duration of support according to the actual treatment period but up to 45 days.

- Persons must carry out medical isolation (F1) at the discretion of competent state agencies, the support period is up to 21 days.

7. Support for employees in some special occupations

The level of support for workers in some industries particularly affected by Covid-19 is as follows:

- One-time support of VND 3,710,000 per person for art directors, actors and painters holding fourth-class professional titles in public non-performing arts units (excluding armed forces art units) must cease operation for 15 days or more to prevent and combat COVID-19 during the period from May 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.

- One-time support of VND 3,710,000 per person for tour guides who are issued a travel guide card affected by the COVID-19 pandemic between May 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

8. For free labor and some other specific objects

The level of support for employees without labor contracts (free labor) shall not be lower than VND 1,500,000 per person once or VND 50,000 per person per day based on the actual number of days of suspension of operation at the request of the locality.
