WHAT ARE SUPPORTS FOR THE WOMAN WHO GIVES BIRTH TO THE TWOS SAME-SEX CHILDRENS FROM MARCH 10, 2021?

From March 10, Circular 01/2021/TT-BYT officially came into effect, families who has two same-sex children and commits not to have more children, will able to be encouraged and supported. 

Specifically, according to Article 4 of Circular 01/2021 / TT-BYT, based on population policy goals and practice, for the purpose of controlling the imbalance of sex ratio at birth, the local agencies chooses and decides some specific contents to encourage and support a family who have 2 (two) children with a commitment not to have more children such as:

• Honor, praise the raising of healthy children, teaching good children and children who study well and succeed 

• Exemption or reduction for School fees 

• Support to buy student health insurance 

• Support for school milk and other appropriate content and formats 

As such, not any family who have the twos same sex child is supported. Only families has two same-sex children and commits not to have more children will enjoy the reward and support policies.
