TOURIST ACCOMMODATION ESTABLISHMENTS MUST DO SELF-ASSESSMENT OF COVID-19 SAFETY.
On May 11, 2021, the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism(Vietnam) has dispatched 1518/BVHTTDL-TCDL requesting the urging to carry out COVID-19 safety assessment of tourist accommodation establishments nationwide.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism proposes the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to coordinate in implementing the following contents:
- Request the tourist accommodation establishment to register, regularly self-assess and update to the national COVID-19 safety system under the guidance of the the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in The Dispatch No. 4159/BVHTTDL-TCDL in 2020;
- Request tourist accommodation establishments to publish QR codes (QR codes generated in each unit's account after successful registration to covid-19 safety system) at the reception hall or easy-to-observe area;
- Strengthen inspection, supervision and strictly handle tourist accommodation establishments that do not comply with epidemic prevention and control measures; only allow tourist accommodation facilities that ensure COVID-19 safety to be picked up and served.
